Tonight, 1st February 2017, sees the launch of the Spring Lecture Series at Clifton House.  This has been developed and funded in partnership with Belfast Charitable Society and the Good Relations Unit at Belfast City Council through their Decades of Centenaries Programme.

The talks given by Dr Éamon Phoenix, Professor Laurence Kirkpatrick and Dr Margaret Ward examine a broad history which begins with that of the Society and moves to the Decade of Centenary topics.

CEO of Belfast Charitable Society, Paula Reynolds said, “We are delighted with the tremendous interest in the series and are pleased to see each week now fully booked.”

Although all the Spring Lectures are now full, there are other events planned at Clifton House.  There are tours of Clifton House each Friday at 3.00pm.  Tours of Clifton House and Clifton Street Cemetery are held on the last Friday of each month.  There are special 1798 Rebellion & Belfast Charitable Society “Plots & Plotters” tours being held over Easter between 2nd and 6th April at 3.00pm each day.
