This year marks the 20th year of European Heritage Open Days (EHOD) in Northern Ireland. Clifton House was delighted to be part of this event which now includes over 370 properties, some of which are rarely open to the public.
EHOD gives buildings such as Clifton House an opportunity to showcase the magnificent building and heritage we have and give people a reason to return to hear the 265 year history of the Belfast Charitable Society.
This year over 400 people visited Clifton House in a little over four hours! Staff and volunteers were delighted with such a response and we look forward to welcoming many of the visitors back for our talks, tours and events.
